Jammu, Aug 06:DB of CAT questions J&K Govt for keeping a official suspended by not concluding inquiry since 03 years

  • In C.P./755/2025 (JAMMU) [ CONTEMPT ] In O.A./791/2024 With M.A./592/2026 titled PARVINDER SINGH Vs LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT after hearing CAT ordered as under:-
  • Vide order dated 24.03.2025 passed in the main case, OA No. 61/791/2024, the respondents were directed to conclude the inquiry within a period of six months, otherwise suspension would deem to be revoked, if the inquiry is not complete by this time. 
  • Since, more than three years have passed and the inquiry has not come to any conclusion, it is hereby directed that respondents may revoke the suspension of the petitioner and finalise inquiry by the next date of hearing, failing which contempt proceedings would be initiated against the contemnors. For further consideration, on 16.09.2026.
