NEW DELHI, Aug 05: AGMUT cadre IAS Officer Brij Mohan Mishra appointed Minister (Economic and Commercial), Embassy of India, Tokyo.
The Order copy with Cross Town News reads " Appointment of Shri Brij Mohan Mishra, lAS (AGMUT:2008), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry to the post of Minister (Economic and Commercial), Embassy of India, Tokyo [a Joint Secretary level Foreign Post of Government of India], on deputation basis under Department of Economic Affairs vice Ms. Debjani Chakrabarti, lAS (OD:2002), on completion of her approved tenure to this post on 28.04.2027, for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by curtailing the tenure of his central deputation as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry under the Central Staffing Scheme."
