NEW DELHI, Aug 04: Ministry of Home Affairs has cancelled appointment of AGMUT cadre IPS Officer Abhishek Dhaniya as DIG in ITBP and also debarred from Central deputation as well as Foreign assigments for 5 years.
As per details with Cross Town News, As per UT division, MHA’s OM No. 14046/08/2014-UTS-l dated 17.07.2026 , convey approval of the competent authority for cancellation of appointment of Shri Abhishek Dhania, IPS as Deputy Inspector General, Indo-Tibetan Border Police(ITBP) conveyed vide this Division’s OM of even number dated 04.05.2026.
As per details with Cross Town News, IPS Officer of 2012 batch, Abhishek Dhania, is debarred from Central deputation and foreign assignments/ consultancies for a period of 5 years, under the provision of para-17 of IPS Tenure Policy.
