Kathua, August 3: Deputy Commissioner Kathua today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of works being executed under the District Capex Budget and the MLA Constituency Development Fund (MLA-CDF) and UT Capex.
At the outset, the district officers and executing agencies presented detailed updates on the physical and financial progress of ongoing developmental works across the district.
During the review, the Deputy Commissioner Kathua emphasized the need for timely completion of all sanctioned works and directed the concerned departments to adhere strictly to the prescribed timelines.
Stressing the importance of quality and efficiency in execution, the DC instructed officers to expedite the pace of work and ensure that all projects are completed at the earliest for the benefit of the public.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of new works proposed under the District Capex Budget, UT Capex and MLA-CDF and directed the concerned departments to complete all necessary formalities for early allotment and execution of these projects.
Officers were instructed to maintain close coordination to avoid delays and ensure effective implementation.
The Deputy Commissioner called upon all executing agencies to work with dedication and accountability to achieve the developmental targets within the stipulated time frame.
The DC Kathua further directed officers to monitor progress regularly and promptly address any bottlenecks hindering the execution of works.
The meeting concluded with a detailed department-wise review and directions to ensure the timely and effective implementation of all developmental projects across the district.
The meeting was attended by the IAS Probationer Nidhi, Chief Planning Officer Ranjeet Thakur, Assistant Commissioner Development Akhil Sadotra, Executive Engineers and other district and sectoral officers of the concerned departments
