SRINAGAR, July 27: Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 25,563 waqf properties as initiated or completed on the UMEED Central Portal-2025, including 25,248 properties approved by the approver, according to data furnished by the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs in the Rajya Sabha
The ministry said that, as of July 21, 2026, 222 properties in Jammu and Kashmir had been initiated for entry by the maker, 19 had been submitted by the maker and were pending with the checker, while no property was pending with the approver.
The portal data also showed 74 properties rejected by the checker or approver and pending with the maker. The Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board had also received additional time for uploading relevant documents.
