New Delhi, July 13: FCI clarified on reports alleging diversion of FCI rice worth ₹1,160 crore are based on an incorrect interpretation of facts. The investigation pertains to an alleged diversion of 490 bags (242.50 quintals) valued at approximately ₹5.63 lakh. Appropriate legal and administrative action has already been initiated, and the matter remains under investigation.
