Ahmadabad, July 11: The Anti-Corruption Bureau caught an outsourced Computer Operator posted at the Chanasma Mamlatdar office while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹800 for issuing documents related to the widow assistance scheme.
Previously, ACB receives tip-off that applicants seeking documents under the widow assistance scheme were allegedly being asked to pay bribes ranging from ₹100 to ₹2,000 at the Chanasma Mamlatdar office.
Accused caught red-handed Acting on the inputs. During the trap, Parmar allegedly demanded and accepted ₹800 from a decoy complainant for processing the required documents.
The accused was caught red-handed and the bribe amount was recovered from him.
