JAMMU, July 11: Three minor children drowned in a pond at Chack Bhagwana village in the Jourian area of Akhnoor Sub Division today.
All three families are originally from Rajasthan and are presently residing at Chack Bhagwana.
However, after noticing the episode, they were shifted to CHC, Jourian but declared dead and later shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where the bodies were sent for post-mortem .
Police have initiated inquest proceedings and are investigating the incident.
