Lucknow, July 10: Allegations have been made against one Police Inspector Guddu Prasad, posted at Rahimabad police station in Lucknow, for demanding a bribe of ₹1.5 lakh.
A video of this has surfaced, in which he is demanding this amount in exchange for protecting the accused in the investigation of a case. In the video, he is saying, “If I get this much money, then I will also write that the accused was not found at home. I will not try to search.”
After the video surfaced, the inspector was suspended.
