Jammu, July 01: Amendments stand already made in UBBL, which was notified but Govt is sleeping on revision of Jammu Master Plan in March 2017 & otherwise which was not implemented in toto as Zonal Plans were not framed, which was the condition in the J&K Development Act of 1970 but neither VC of the time or CTP of the time taken to task for non compliance of the said Act of 1970.
It is a matter of enquiry that how same Building Bye Laws were fixed on BP cases of villages where no designated road as per Master Plan existed & even Cross Town News is in possession of a document, where in CTP of Town Planning & of JDA are in contradiction of their powers causing harassment to Applicant.
It is also to mention here that despite putting on public domain the Draft revised Jammu Master Plan & thereafter seeking objections, since more than a year till day revised Master Plan not notified ..
However, despite one amendment made in UBBL, Govt again constituted a committee for amendment in UBBL but till today final notification, which is the basic to clear building permission cases, the revised Jammu Master Plan is still in air.
