NEW DELHI, June 21: The Ministry of Home Affairs has assigned seniority and revised allotment years to five Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.
The officers had earlier been inducted into the IPS through MHA Notification No. I-14013/29/2022-IPS-I(E)(I) dated August 5, 2025, following their selection by the Union Public Service Commission under the Select Lists of 2010, 2011 and 2012.
According to the notification, Sunil Dutt has been assigned the allotment year 2005. Abhay Kumar Mahajan and Rupender Kumar Chalotra have been assigned the allotment year 2006, while Rajnish Pran has been allotted the year 2007.
Ashok Kumar Sharma has been assigned the allotment year 2009.
