Lucknow, June 13: In response to allegations of embezzlement in donations at Ram Temple, the government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) at the request of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The three-member committee will be chaired by Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant.
The committee also includes IG Range Kiran S and Special Secretary of the Finance Department Neel Ratan.
As per the government's instructions, the committee will submit its preliminary report within 7 days and the final report within 15 days.
The committee will investigate all aspects of the related matter and submit its report to the government. The government has directed that the investigation process be completed in a time-bound manner.
