NEW DELHI, Jun 8 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah , Ex Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and MP Shammi Oberoi on Monday attended the INDIA bloc meeting in the national capital, joining leaders of opposition parties for discussions on political and national issues.
The three Leaders from J&K attend the meeting alongside opposition leaders Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, TMC chief Mamata Banerjee and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav.
The meeting, aimed at strengthening coordination among opposition parties and chalking out a strategy against the BJP-led government at the Centre.
In the INDIA Bloc meeting CM OmarAbdullah asked all the participants to join JKNC when we come to Delhi to protest for the restoration of statehood.
He also informed them that we would be writing to each of them individually as well.
