J&K: CAT disapproves "Interpretation made by Rupesh Kumar"? To take "coercive action" if fails to obtain stay from HC

Jammu, June 05: CAT disapproved "Interpretation made by Rupesh Kumar"? To take "coercive action" if fails to obtain stay from HC.

In C.P./559/2025 In T.A./6511/2021 titled JAMEELA BANOO Vs MR RUPESH KUMAR after hearing CAT ordered as under:-

               We have heard learned counsel on both sides, for some time.

It has come out, that the respondents have given their own interpretation and have refused to oblige the directions issued by the Tribunal and refused to promote the applicant, though they have rescinded the promotion granted to the 5 th Respondent.

Interpretation made by the respodnents cannot be approved.

Therefore, we grant time till 13.07.2026, for complying with the directions or obtaining stay order from the Hon'ble High Court, failing which, coercive action shall be taken against the respondents.

We make it clear that we do not approve the order dated 13.02.2026.

Adjourned to 13.07.2026.
