Jammu, May 31: No doubts there are countless questions on JKUT Govt as a whole let it be under LG, Manoj Sinha or let it be under, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah because their orders are not being bothered on ground in time bound manner because office of none bothered to seek Action Taken reports on their instructions issued from time to time despite have huge staff appointed in their offices, who are getting huge salarys & other incentives to the tune of crores per month on public taxes?
However, Cross Town News is in possession of countless proofs which are being thrown in dustbins on ground but none of the top offices bothered to act on their non compliances & top among all are non compliance of LG's AC's Decisions dtd 29th Jan 2022, dtd 25th July 2024, Communications to Tourism Secretary over reports on revised Master Plan of Patnitop dev Authority, wherein around 15 lakhs has been wasted since more 08 years but outcome is big zero till day.
CM being Tourism Minister also never bothered to look into the matter, which is in open non compliance of J&K Development Act of 1970 by which Master Plans are needed to be revised after a time bound manner but till today Building Bye Laws of Master Plan of year 2000 are being allowed on BP cases, which is causing hinderances in new developments in the big jurisdiction of PDA, other side it also raised a question towards working of Chairman, BOCA of PDA along with its Members for using Building Bye Laws of year 2000?
Despite, CM also being the H&UDD Minister, Revised Jammu Master Plan is hanging in fire despite completion of public objections, which is causing hinderances in new developments in the jurisdiction of JMC & JDA, other side CM Office is also sleeping to act on withholding of Recruitment rules of Jammu Municipal Corporation, by which department is making "Pick & Choose" promotions by killing the rights of lot of genuine officials, some have retired & some are at the verge of retirement?
It is also to mention here that CM, Omar Abdullah constituted a high level committee of Ministers headed by 03 Ministers vide GAD's Govt Order dtd 15.09.2025 to look into the issue of public harassment on Gair Mumkin Khad Lands by the Revenue & I&FC & asked to submit the report in 03 months & that so called 03 months has lapsed on 15.12.2025 & today is 31st of May 2026 but whereabouts of report is still in dustbins of Ministers, which speaks how the Govt is running to resolve public issue, otherwise which is not an issue but has been made an issue one renowned so called honest & competent officer of JKUT? but CM Office never bothered to seek the report on his non compliance by his ministers?
Above all, one can see once upon a time a House Committee headed by National Conference legislator and former High Court judge Hasnain Masoodi with CPI(M), BJP, Congress, PDP leaders, and an Independent, as its members was constituted by Speaker On March 22, 2025 to submit a detailed report in irregularity's done by Jal Shakti Department Bosses in JJM by this way or the other & for which committee in ending March, 2026 again sought 02 more months for submission of report & today the time period of the said House Committee has exhausted, which was by headed by retired High Court Judge & now MLA along with other MLAs could not come in public, so that public could have observed the so called honest officers?
CPI(M) MLA M Y Tarigami, NC’s Ali Mohammad Dar, Tanvir Sadiq, Javaid Riyaz (Bedar) and Arjun Singh Raju, BJP’s Rajiv Jasrotia and Ranbir Singh Pathania, former judge and Independent candidate Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, PDP’s Rafiq Ahmad Naik and Congress’ Iftikhar Ahmad have been nominated as members of the panel.
