Jammu, May 31: There are countless questions in Jammu and Kashmir on output/implementation of decisions ,where Action Taken reports on instructions issued from time to time not bothered.
Non compliance of LG's ACs Decisions dtd 29th Jan 2022, dtd 25th July 2024, Communications to Tourism Secretary over reports on revised Master Plan of Patnitop dev Authority, wherein around 15 lakhs has been wasted since more 08 years but outcome is big zero till day.
Non compliance of CM's directions on J&K Development Act of 1970 by which Master Plans are needed to be revised after a time bound manner but till today Building Bye Laws of Master Plan of year 2000 are being allowed on BP cases, which is causing hinderances in new developments in the big jurisdiction of PDA,and questions why using Building Bye Laws of year 2000 and also Revised Jammu Master Plan is hanging in fire despite completion of public objections, add directions of resolving gair Mumkin Khad lands issue.
House Committee headed by National Conference legislator and former High Court judge Hasnain Masoodi with CPI(M), BJP, Congress, PDP leaders, and an Independent, as its members was constituted by Speaker On March 22, 2025 to submit a detailed report in irregularitieds done by Jal Shakti Department Bosses in JJM by this way or the other & for which committee in ending March, 2026 again sought 02 more months for submission of report & today the time period of the said House Committee has exhausted.
CPI(M) MLA M Y Tarigami, NC’s Ali Mohammad Dar, Tanvir Sadiq, Javaid Riyaz (Bedar) and Arjun Singh Raju, BJP’s Rajiv Jasrotia and Ranbir Singh Pathania, former judge and Independent candidate Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, PDP’s Rafiq Ahmad Naik and Congress’ Iftikhar Ahmad are members of the panel.
Now when the report will be made public , it will make clear whether Scheme was implemented inappropriately way or the various allegations made were incorrect.
