Shimla, May 22: A delegation of students from National Law University, led by Sidhant Sharma, called on Governor Kavinder Gupta at Lok Bhavan today.
The delegation apprised the Governor of various issues related to the welfare, safety and convenience of the students.
The students requested the installation of street lights on the road connecting the hostel premises with the university campus to ensure safer movement, especially during evening hours.
The delegation also urged for the provision of first-aid kits at the university to enable immediate medical assistance in case of emergencies.
The Governor listened patiently to the concerns raised by the students and assured them of all possible support and cooperation.
