RAJKOT, May 16: A shocking case has come to light from Morbi, where a man allegedly allowed his landlord and a relative of the landlord to repeatedly rape his wife and 13-year-old daughter, as he could not pay his rent.
The wife’s mother lodged a complaint on May 1 against her daughter’s husband (the tenant), the landlord and relative of the landlord under various sections of the BNS and Pocso Act at Morbi City.
The landlord, 55, was produced in court and sent to one day custodial interrogation. After his remand period ended, the landlord was sent to judicial custody.
The tenant husband was arrested earlier and is currently in jail.
Meanwhile, a search is on for relatives of the landlord who abetted the crime. The family members of the landlord and the co-accused who abetted the crime, are absconding.
