SRINAGAR, May 14: Police in Srinagar district attached a residential house along with land worth nearly Rs 1.20 crore belonging to an alleged drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Post Noorbagh under Police Station Safakadal.
It said the attached property belongs to Adil Manzoor Bhat alias Watson, son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Pamposh Colony Noorbagh, Srinagar, who is accused in FIR No. 48/2022 registered under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Safakadal.
The accused is currently out on bail granted by the court. Police said the attachment was carried out under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, 1985, after obtaining approval from the competent authority, SAFEMA, New Delhi.
