Srinagar, May 13: Jal Shakti contractors of Jammu Province attended protest of Contractors at Srinagar, who are on protest against Jal Shakti Department since 03 days, sought LG’s intervention over Rs 1,500 crore pending dues; alleged Govt inaction despite repeated assurances.
It is to mention here that it is a question on JJM Bosses for purchasing huge number of GI & HDPE Pipes, which have been seen lying on roads since years, otherwise the said amount unnecessarily utilized in crores could have utilized in clearing payments of contractors.
However, big stock of pipes lying on road side at Patnitop since years can be seen from the below snapshot.
