Jammu, May 10: DB of CAT sought personal appearance of Principal Secretary Secretary Agriculture , if fails in compliance with explanation
In C.P./290/2024 (JAMMU) [ CONTEMPT ] In O.A./1167/2021 SHAM LAL Vs SH SHAILENDRA KUMAR IAS D/O AGRICULTURE UT OF J&K , after hearing CAT ordered as under:-
Status report has been filed by respondent no. 4 and not by respondent no. 1 who is the competent authority to implement the judgment of this Tribunal for regularization of the petitioners.
Learned A.A.G. has stated that process of regularization of the petitioners has been initiated who are found eligible for regularization for their appointment as Class-IV posts in light of SRO 64 of 1994 after completion of seven years from the date of their first engagement.
At the request of learned A.A.G., three weeks time is granted to file the compliance report with regard to the implementation of the final order of this Tribunal dated 22.03.2024 failing which respondent no. 1 shall appear before this Tribunal on the next date through virtual mode at 1:00 PM with his explanation.
List this case on 08.06.2026.
Meanwhile, learned counsel for the petitioners shall file an application for substitution of names of new incumbents. A copy of this order be furnished to learned A.A.G. for information and compliance.
