SAMBA, MAY 09: The implementation of Mission YUVA in District Samba was today reviewed at a meeting convened under the chairpersonship of District Development Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan.
The meeting was attended by ACR Ajay Bharti; GM DIC Gurpreet Singh; Assistant Director Employment, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur, District Programme Manager, representatives from J&K Bank and J&K Grameen Bank, besides officers and officials associated with Mission YUVA including SBDUs and BHD.
The District Development Commissioner conducted a detailed review of the implementation of Mission YUVA, including the number of applications received, sanctioned and disbursed cases, Hybrid Trainings and Enterprise Mentorship Programmes hosted, besides assessment of output tracking mechanisms.
The DDC directed the General Manager DIC to identify and onboard more industries for enhance the number of training batches.
The Assistant Director Employment was instructed to put in extra efforts to increase Hybrid Trainings and Enterprise Mentorship Programmes and to consider DLIC-approved applications for expanding training batches.
The banking institutions were directed to complete the documentation process of all pending cases and work towards reducing the gap between sanctioned and disbursed cases. The District Programme Manager NRLM was asked to focus particularly on Self Help Group (SHG) applications under the Mission.
The District Development Commissioner further directed all concerned officers to pay special attention to the identified Vibrant Villages. “At least 10 cases under Mission YUVA shall be generated from each Vibrant Village before the next review meeting,” he directed.
