Srinagar, May 4: The annual Darbar Move resumed in Srinagar on Monday after a gap of four years, with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah presiding over a ceremonial guard of honour amid tight security arrangements.
The Civil Secretariat and other government offices reopened in Srinagar for the summer season after functioning from Jammu during the winter months.
The offices had closed in Jammu on April 30. Authorities said strict security measures were put in place to ensure smooth functioning of the reopening.
