JAMMU, Apr 30: The Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today cleared a number of proposals in its meeting held here this morning including grant of two percent DA, construction of three Grid Stations, sewerage and waste management projects, protection of the assets of Kashmiri migrants, changes in J&K Cooperative Societies Act, Cadre Review and Reorganization of Jal Shakti Department (JSD) and re-designation of Medical, Deputy and Assistant Medical Superintendents of the Government Medical Colleges.
The decisions approved by the Cabinet will be sent to the Lieutenant Governor for approval.
The regularization of Lecturers in the Education Department has also been approved by the Cabinet. The promotion of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) officers in three ranks including Under Secretaries, Additional Secretaries and Special Secretaries, was also approved in the meeting .
The Cabinet cleared the creation of supernumerary post of the District Judge. It also approved creation of nine posts of District Ayush Officers in the Health and Medical Education Department by reducing 11 posts of the Medical Officers.
