JAMMU, Apr 29: The UT Cabinet will meet here today for the last time before shifting of Civil Secretariat to Srinagar for next six months with large items on agenda including Cadre Review and Reorganization of Jal Shakti Department, finalization of Recruitment Rules for State Motor Garages, creation of 09 posts of District Ayush Officers , promotion of JKAS officers in three ranks etc etc are among others.
The Recruitment Rules for State Motor Garages have been finalized and the Cabinet is expected to approve its notification in meeting but RRs of JMC, which stands approved by ARI Training since months are still sleeping in drawer of bosses despite CM being the H&UDD Minister allowing higher placements in JMC by adopting pick & choose.
The Cabinet is likely to give its nod to the proposal of Health and Medical Education Department on re-designation of Medical Superintendents as Professors, Deputy Medical Superintendents as Associate Professors and Assistant Medical Superintendents as Assistant Professors in the Government Medical Colleges of Jammu and Kashmir.
A proposal is also before the Cabinet on promotion of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services officers in three ranks including Under Secretaries, Additional Secretaries and Special Secretaries.
Above all it is to mention here that "he Dearness Allowance (DA) of Government employees and pensioners, which was recently released by the Central Government, is not being taken up by the Cabinet tomorrow".
