Yasha Mudgal issues directions over  Zonal Cooperative Workshop

 
JAMMU, APRIL 28: Commissioner Secretary, Cooperative Department, Yasha Mudgal, today chaired a high-level preparatory meeting to review the arrangements for the upcoming Zonal Review Workshop to be held at Srinagar from June 24 to 26, 2026.

The meeting was attended by the Special Secretary, Cooperative; FA/CAO Cooperative Department; Joint Registrar (Audit), Kashmir and other senior departmental officers. During the meeting, the Commissioner Secretary was informed that the workshop, being organized by the Union Ministry for Cooperation, will witness participation from the senior officers of the Union Ministry as well as the Secretaries and Registrars of Cooperative Departments from various States and Union Territories.

A detailed overview of the event framework, covering agenda, thematic sessions, resource persons and expected outcomes, was presented. Besides, the current status of preparations, including proposed venues, timelines and identified nodal officers for different functional areas was also presented. Reviewing the arrangements, Yasha Mudgal stressed the need for comprehensive planning and coordinated management of all aspects of the event, covering arrival, stay, conference proceedings and departure of delegates. She emphasized that all the arrangements must be executed in a seamless and professional manner.

The Commissioner Secretary further reviewed the protocol and liaison mechanisms, underscoring the vital importance of maintaining effective communication with the Union Ministry and participating States/UTs. She directed that robust facilitation measures be ensured to handle all protocol-related engagements without any lapses. While taking stock of transport, accommodation and hospitality arrangements, the Commissioner Secretary called for meticulous advance planning and efficient coordination to ensure maximum convenience of delegates. She emphasized the need for maintaining appropriate standards and ensuring consistent logistical support throughout the three-day event.

She also reviewed the conference management and venue readiness, directing that all necessary infrastructure and support systems be finalized timely in strict accordance with the established norms.
Highlighting the importance of inter-departmental synergy, Yasha Mudgal stressed the need for close coordination among all the concerned departments and agencies.

She called for continuous monitoring and the development of contingency plans to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the workshop.
