JAMMU, Apr 27: Senior IAS Officer posted in J&K as Secretary Transport , Avny Lavasa , who is Sports Lover said stop calling any distance as a marathon, Marathon means 42km.
As per details with Cross Town News , Avny said “Please stop calling any distance as a marathon. Marathon means 42km.”
She said running any distance is commendable no doubt but not fair to people who actually train and run an ACTUAL marathon.
Her post has been widely appreciated by Sportspersons, whereas Avny has run Marathons in India and USA .
