2 Teachers suspended: Explanations sought from many others for negligence in J&K

RAJOURI, Apr 23: Chief Education Officer, Rajouri, Mohd Hafiz, conducted a surprise inspection of several schools in Zone Kotranka, suspended two teachers and sought explanations from many other staff members for negligence and poor functioning of schools today.

It said during the inspection, serious lapses were observed in staff attendance, academic performance, and implementation of the Mid-Day Meal Scheme.

At Govt Middle School Panjaira No. 1, the functioning of the institution was found highly unsatisfactory, with poor academic standards and irregular MDM practices.

Taking strict action, CEO placed Shafiq Qabool, Teacher under suspension. Several staff members were also detached and reassigned to streamline academic functioning.

At Govt Middle School, Pateli, Ajeet Singh, teacher, was found absent without authorization.

The school’s academic performance and attendance were noted to be below satisfactory levels. At Middle School Swari, only three out of six teachers were present, prompting issuance of explanations to the three staff members.

At Middle School Panjaira No. 2, Middle School Palwar, and Middle School Nakha Gabber, poor functioning, low attendance, and violations in Mid-Day Meal implementation were observed.

All the concerned staff members have been directed to submit written explanations with in two days, failing which disciplinary action will be initiated against them.E-paper subscription
