Purnia, Apr 23: Shabana Azmi, the Station House Officer of the Mahila Thana (Women Police Station) in Purnia, Bihar, was suspended, for consistently posting Instagram/Facebook reels while in uniform, violating strict Bihar Police headquarters protocols.
The action, taken by Purnia SP Sweety Sehrawat, follows a crackdown on police personnel using social media, with around 50 officers in the state being monitored for similar unprofessional behavior.
