JAMMU, Apr 20: Commissioner, JMC, Devansh Yadav is tough on violators as time & again he has advised public to get their Building Permission Cases approved before start of the buildings, so that they may not face any actions for violations.
Today again on the directions of Devansh Yadav, the Jammu Municipal Corporation on acting on violators has sealed a building, located on the main road in Trikuta Nagar near a Nallah, citing major violations of approved building norms.
It stated that although permission was granted for a ground-floor commercial unit and first-floor residential use but the construction deviated significantly from the sanctioned plan.
Violations included lack of required roof cut-out, absence of partition walls, structural irregularities, and conversion into a single complex.
After reviewing the response to a show-cause notice, JMC found the explanation unsatisfactory and ordered sealing, citing unauthorized development and public safety concerns.
