SRINAGAR, Apr 20: Gulmarg Development Authority sealed six hotels in Tangmarg for carrying out illegal constructions & the action was taken as part of the drive against unauthorised structures in the Tangmarg-Gulmarg belt.
The sealed units had allegedly violated approved building norms and expanded structures without permission, it said.
Enforcement teams headed by the Tehsildar Tangmarg, with support of local police unit, carried out the sealing after identifying clear violations during inspections.
Chief Executive Officer of GDA, Tariq Hussain Naik, issued a stern warning, saying there will be zero tolerance for violations. He urged people to refrain from undertaking any unauthorised construction.
