SRINAGAR, March 24: A retired Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was killed in a road accident after being hit by an unidentified auto at Daripora Adina, near Badran stop in the Magam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, late on Tuesday night.
It said that the accident resulted in his on-the-spot death, while the auto driver, whose identity has yet to be ascertained, also sustained injuries and was shifted to JVC Hospital for treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation has been initiated.
