Jammu, March 24: The number of vacancies for induction of Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) officers into the Indian Police Service (IPS) will rise to ten as two IPS officers to retire in April and May.
Earlier total of eight vacancies for the years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 for appointment in IPS by promotion from Jammu and Kashmir have been determined.
Sources told Cross Town News that UPSC will hold meeting regarding induction.
After the induction into IPS , JKPS Officers will be on AGMUT cadre roll , and can be posted in nay segment of AGMUT cadre including J&K.
