UDHAMPUR, MARCH 12: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Minga Sherpa today convened a meeting of the District Level Telecom Committee to review the status of ongoing telecom works, installation of mobile towers and measures to ensure seamless network connectivity across the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh, officers from various departments and representatives of telecom service providers.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on strengthening mobile and internet services, installation of additional towers and achieving saturation of network coverage in uncovered areas.
Representatives of BSNL and other telecom service providers were directed to ensure saturation of network coverage in areas experiencing weak or no signal.
The DC also reviewed the progress of tower installation works and instructed BSNL to identify all shadow areas in the district so that comprehensive signal coverage can be ensured
