JAMMU, Jan 9: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Amritsar district of Punjab today said that Jammu and Kashmir Government has taken up with the Central Government the construction of two projects over rivers Jhelum and Chenab following scrapping of Indus Water Treat with Pakistan which will increase power generation in the Valley and overcome water shortage in the Jammu region.
