Jammu, Jan 04: In C.P./222/2024 (JAMMU) In O.A./315/2023 G.P.F With M.A./1125/2025 titled SHIBAN LAL BHAT AND OTHERS Vs SH VIKRAMJIT SINGH IPS COMMISSIONER/SECRETARY SINGH, GEOLOGY AND MINING DEPARTMENT after hearing CAT ordered as under:-
Respondents have not filed status report despite grant of number of opportunities.
Vide order dated 15.09.2025, Respondent No. 1 was directed to take immediate steps for release of GP Fund in favour of the petitioners and thereafter on 08.10.2025, learned A.A.G. had submitted that matter with regard to release of GP Fund in favour of the petitioners would be settled shortly by Respondent No. 1.
However, even after lapse of more than two and a half months, no action has been taken by Respondent No. 1 in reference to GP fund of the petitioner to the tune of Rs. 33,03,447/-.
In these circumstances, we are left with no option but to stop the salary of Respondent No. 1 till further orders.
The DDO concerned is directed not to release the salary of Respondent No. 1 and file an affidavit in this regard by the next date of hearing.
