Srinagar, Jan 04: Speaking to reporters, cabinet minister Javaid Ahmad Dar had said that the government is actively considering such a mechanism to address the issue.
He added that one should know that after several SROs were abolished through the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganization Act, our efforts are now focused on creating a mechanism for the regularization of daily wagers.
He added that the matter was discussed in the last council of ministers meeting & our efforts are directed towards taking positive steps for daily wagers.
In the last budget session, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah constituted a high-level panel headed by the Chief Secretary to examine the regularization of employees working as casual, seasonal labourers, and other workers.
