Jammu, Dec 26: Sakina Ittoo, chaired a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, to review matters related to private schools and the education sector.
Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education and Chairman JKBOSE Shantamanu; Secretary School Education, Ram Niwas Sharma; Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Bhawani Rakwal; Director School Education Kashmir, Naseer Ahmad Wani; Director School Education Jammu, Naseem Javid Chowdhary; Secretary JKBOSE, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh; office bearers of Fee Fixation Regulation Commission, other senior officers of School Education and Higher Education departments were also present on the occasion.
The meeting focused on comprehensive policy reforms, upgradation of educational infrastructure, strengthening institutional frameworks, and enhancing the overall quality of education to meet contemporary challenges.
Emphasis was laid on fostering a collaborative approach between government and private stakeholders to ensure inclusive, equitable, and future-ready education for all students.
Minister Miss Sakina Itoo reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to student-centric reforms, improved learning outcomes, and accountability at all levels, in line with the broader vision of building a strong, progressive, and knowledge-driven society.
The deliberations reflected a shared resolve to elevate educational standards and ensure that quality education reaches every corner of the region.
