Jammu, Dec 19:  Government itself by a legal tendering process started a process to resolve the issue of Gair Mumkin Khad lands & work was allotted to one K.S.Construction Company by a proper allotment order by Govt.

Thereafter, it has been come to notice that the contractor did some job on the said issue following which 03, who were competent IAS Officers submitted details of work done to the tune of Rs. 3 Crore, 01 Lakh & 93000 for release of funds for further payments to the contractor.

Cross town News is in possession of a letter by which Crore of rupees were released to make payments but the FCR/Revenue Secretary did not further release to the concerned Officer but were later lapsed, needed to be enquired as non payments of dues to contractor despite recommendations by concerned DCs stopped the whole process on the fault of FCR/Revenue Secretary of the time for lapse of released funs of Crores as a whole?

Thereafter, the contractor was constrained to file case in High Court & High Court ordered to release the payments to the contractor in 06 weeks but as usual, Court order was not complied by the concerned bosses in a time bound manner following which Contempt was filed.

Now, a matter of enquiry is established that Chief Engineer (I&FC), who is under Administrative Control of Shaleen Kabra, ACS, Jal Shakti  challenged 03 Deputy Commissioners but on whose directions, needed to be verified, communicated that only Rs 11,77,031/- is the work done amount for the said exercise but Deputy Commissioners have  recommended for Rs. 3 Crore, 01 Lakh & 93000,  a matter of high level enquiry to detect the said variation of Rs 2 crore 90 Lakhs to see whether Chief Engineer is right or DCs ?

However, documents with Cross Town News as below speaks the truth of the story to fix the responsibility and Govt has deposited  Rs 11,77,031/- in High Court, whereas Court Order reads to deposit the amount, as it stands previously recommended.

However, Contempt is still pending in High Court & is listed
