Jammu, Dec 12: No doubts there are countless questions on Jal Shakti Department as a whole on various issues, so why a House Committee was constituted by Speaker on the request of all party MLA's to detect the bungling's in the Jal Shakti Department but more than 06 months has lapsed but still public is waiting for the outcome of the said report, which is otherwise a question on working of Hose Committee members?
It is well aware of the fact that once upon a time Prime Minister announced as scheme "HAR GHAR NAL, HAR GHJAR JAL" but that also proved to be a joke of the day that even Jal Shakti Department could not provide water supply on road side house/ buildings, even somewhere supply is being given after 03 days & when moter is damaged one has to wait for drop of water for weeks raised some questions on PMs words?
Even, Chief Minister, concerned Minister & the boss ACS Jal Shakti is aware of the issue that even in summers even city areas of JKUT as a whole faces water shortage, followed by protests by public on roads, which otherwise speaks of failure of Jal shakti Department as a whole?
it is also a confirmed fact that, when department is charging "Water Charges", it is their duty to provide water supply daily but it is not the fact on ground & Cross Town New is in possession of 05 sanctioned water connections on main road, where even the clients has provide pipes & fittings from their own pocket but not getting water supply daily raised a doubtful question on the working of Jal Shakti Department.
Following failure of tap water supply, some has been constrained for operation of self drilled bore wells to get drinking water but the department has started issuing notices to them, no doubts a serious question on Jal Shakti Department because if they cannot provide daily water supply on main roads by sanctioning proper water supply connections by charging requisite fee , how they can ask for charging fee for other water supply system, either department should provide daily water supply through sanctioned water connections?
It is the need of the day to look into the issue by the CM & Minister concerned because public has no hopes from Shaleen Kabra, the boss ACS of Jal Shakti Department, so that issue may be resolved otherwise Govt may face high protests for asking public to pay twics for one cause of action?
