Jammu, Dec 04: Baseer ul Haq Chaudhary, IAS, Mission Director NHM J&K & Dr. Hameed Zargar, Director Health Services Jammu today conducted a surprise visit to Primary Health Centre Dansal and Ayushmaan Arogya Mandir Badsoo in Block Dansal, accompanied by Dr. Jatinder Mehta, Dr. Mir Iqbal, Dr. Amol (National Programme Officer, NCD, WHO), and the NHM team including Dr. Younis Mushtaq (APM NHM J&K), Dr. Mudasir Majeed (WHO Consultant), and Divisional ASHA Coordinator Jammu, Mr. Jonson Chandail.
During the visit, the Mission Director personally inspected all sections of both health facilities, with particular attention to RCH registers, immunization records, and ASHA worker diaries to assess frontline service delivery.
Based on his observations, Sh Baseer ul Haq Chaudhary issued several on-the-spot directions aimed at strengthening PHC operations and enhancing health service quality for the community.
Prior to this, acting on the MD NHM J&K’s directives, the team had also visited GMC Jammu, where they held a meeting with Principal Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, HOD Microbiology, and Medical Superintendent SMGS Hospital Jammu.
The team later briefed Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, Director Health Services Jammu, providing an update on the progress of key National Health Programmes.
