Jammu, Nov 30: There are countless issues in the Jammu Development Authority.
JDA bosses have allowed big commercial constructions in "EWS" Colony at Roopnagar in violation of rule/acts but none of the Officer/official of JDA bothered to act clearly speak of "Vested Considerations", otherwise small plots were meant for residences of EWS people.
Other side, just to harass public in their genuine Building Permission Cases, STP section of JDA along with Revenue Section of JDA withhold BP cases beyond time granted for accord & clearance of BP cases , otherwise Unified Building Bye Laws of 2021 clearly reads that, if JDA/JMC do not clear BP case in 30 days, the applicant can start his work & if details of NOC in Revenue Section & BP cases in STP Section verified shall detect the issue.
It is to mention here that it has been come to understand that officials intentionally call the persons in the pretext of site visits & if they do not come or other reasons not considered they reject the NOC by quoting "The person did not visited the spot" or not available & over this issue, it is to mention here that when "Longitude & Latitudes" are on BP case, why they wanted to meet person at the site.
However, questions are their ambiguous statements , which is clear from RTI reply that in RTI application Revenue Wing of JDA vide dtd 2.08.2025 said, "No NOC is pending since more than 30 days" but in Ist Appeal replied vide dtd 26.09.2025 said that "13 NOCs are pending".
