SRINAGAR, Oct 9: Govt ordered an inquiry into the alleged medical negligence that led to the death of a pregnant woman at Community Health Centre
Taking cognizance of the unfortunate incident involving the death of a pregnant woman at CHC Keller, Shopian, the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, has constituted an inquiry committee to conduct an in-depth investigation into the circumstances and causes leading to the patient’s demise.
It added that the committee has been tasked with evaluating all aspects of the case, including medical care provided, adherence to clinical protocols, and any lapses or deficiencies in the healthcare delivery process.
The inquiry will be carried out in a time-bound manner, and appropriate action will be taken based on the findings and recommendations of the committee.
