Banihal, Sept 30: In a shocking incident, Ramban Police have arrested a Doctor posted at Government Sub-District Hospital Banihal on charges of molesting a pregnant woman during a routine medical checkup.
Previously, a written complaint was lodged by a woman & in her complaint, she stated that while undergoing a routine pregnancy checkup in a hospital, the on-duty Doctor allegedly molested her and touched her in an indecent manner.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, Banihal Police registered FIR No. 105/2025 under Section 74 BNS at Police Station Banihal.
The accused Doctor was immediately arrested and is currently in police custody.
Police have initiated a detailed investigation into the matter.
