Jammu, Sep 20: There were non compliance of Administrative Councils Decision No 17/1/2022 dtd 29th Jan 2022 , by which DCs were granted 03 months time to resolve the issue on Gair Mumkin Khad Lands in compliance to SRO 456 of 2017 dtd 25th Oct 2017 passed in compliance to WPPIL No 08 of 2016 in which Div Com & DCs were declared as Adjudicating Officers along with Chief Engineer I&FC to resolve the issue.
LG J&K again cleared another Administrative council'ss Decision dtd 25th July 2024 but till today no output.
The inactions at the end of Senior Officers in J&K including FCR , Revenue Secretary and DCs have caused loss of crores to Govt Exchequer by stopping sale/purchase of such nomenclare lands in plain areas & away from khads, as Stamp Duty Fee & other taxes & other side it stop the new developments in plain areas.
Now, Omar Abdullah, after taking over as CM,& INCHARGE OF REVENUE MINISTER constituted a high level committee of Ministers headed by Dy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary to look into the issue of public harassment by the Revenue & I&FC & asked to submit the report in 03 months.
