JAMMU, Sept 13: Jodhamal Public School’s Junior Wing held a grand and solemn ceremony to formally induct the newly elected Prefectorial Council for the academic session 2025–26.
The event was graced by Lt. Col. Smita Sanglodkar as the chief guest. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a soulful rendition by the Junior Choir.
Principal Dr. Deep Khare welcomed the gathering and emphasized that leadership must be rooted in discipline, honesty, and teamwork. The highlight of the programme was the prestigious badging ceremony.
The new council members proudly received their sashes and badges, taking an oath of office administered by the Principal.
The Prefectorial Council included Junior Head Girl Sara Nawaz and Junior Head Boy Namit Malhotra, supported by Deputy Head Girl Maisa Gupta and Deputy Head Boy Aarvik Mahajan.
Discipline Incharges included Saanvi Gupta, Bani Kour and Riyan Gupta, with Vice Incharges Sunvi Sharma and Arindham Veer.
Eco Leaders named were Ziaana Singh, Ishwam Kawatara and Anayla Gupta, while Aaleen Naik, Sayyam Sharma, Mohd. Izaan and Mohd. Asad were appointed as Vice Eco Leaders. Sports Captains Tara Shan and Gurjas Singh were supported by Amaira Mahajan and Fateh Singh as Vice Captains.
CCA Incharges Vaidehi Mahajan, Ruvika Sachdev and Advay Sharma, along with Vice Incharges Kaashvi Gupta, Nidha Gupta and Rivaan Gupta, were also inducted. Academic Prefects included Parini Gupta and Zain Basit Keng, with Gauranghi and Sarthak Jamwal as Vice Prefects.
House Captains and Vice Captains for Challenge, Invention, Discovery and Enterprise Houses were also announced.
Trustees Nandan Kuthiala and Arati Kuthiala, along with Vice Principal Amita Arora, congratulated the young leaders. CCA Coordinator Deepali Puri and the entire staff were lauded for the smooth conduct of the event.
