JAMMU, Sep 06: Vibodh Holding the NC directly responsible for the shameful act of disrespect against the revered National Emblem of India, Senior BJP leader and former MLC Vibodh Gupta said that such frustrated attempts are being carried out intentionally to disturb peace in Jammu & Kashmir.
He stated that NC, which has lost the trust of the people, cannot digest that development and progress have become the top priority of J&K, and therefore they are resorting to such divisive and destabilizing acts. Vibodh strongly asserted that the National Emblem is not just an image carved in stone or printed on paper — it is the living spirit of India, representing our sovereignty, strength, and timeless unity. “It is above religion, caste, or region. It belongs equally to every Indian and reflects the honour and dignity of our great motherland,” he added.
Expressing deep anguish, he declared that those who dare to dishonour the National Emblem insult every citizen of this country and weaken the foundation of our democracy. He maintained that such reckless and outrageous acts must be met with the strictest legal punishment so that no one ever dares to repeat them. Vibodh urged the people of India to rise above divisions and safeguard the sanctity of this sacred symbol. He said that the dignity of India is non-negotiable and the National Emblem reminds us of our unbreakable spirit — it is the thread that binds 1.4 billion hearts together. Any attack on it is an attack on Bharat itself.
Vibodh further appealed to authorities to take swift, decisive, and exemplary action against the culprits, stressing that national symbols are the pride of every Indian and must always remain beyond insult or misuse.
