Srinagar, Aug 24: Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi today said that Kashmir deserves its own film industry and that more stories should emerge from the Valley.
Speaking to reporters after launching her book “Zeba: An Accidental Superhero” during the centenary celebrations of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) here, Qureshi said Kashmir is rich in culture and art, which must be promoted. “Kashmir should have its own film industry. There are so many stories, folklore, songs, culture, and poetry here that deserve to be told. We should promote them, and definitely, we should have more stories out of Kashmir,” she said.
