SRINAGAR, Aug 12: Deputy Superintendent of Police Sheikh Aadil has been reinstated into service after the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir ordered the closure of departmental proceedings.
The move followed the investigating agency’s report which found no substance in the allegations under the Prevention of Corruption Act, closing the case as not proved.
The Hon’ble Court also dismissed the charge sheet for allied offences under the Indian Penal Code after due consideration.(KNC)
