Gandhinagar, July 31: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today inaugurated the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, extending a warm invitation to travellers to explore the year-round charm of Jammu & Kashmir.
Speaking at the event, he highlighted J&K’s rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and growing connectivity with Gujarat, positioning the Union Territory as a vibrant, all-season destination.
With over 70 stakeholders from J&K participating, the J&K pavilion drew major attention for showcasing adventure, pilgrimage, heritage, golf, and film tourism.
CM Omar also interacted with exhibitors and met Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel to discuss inter-state cooperation and tourism promotion.
TTF Ahmedabad, with over 900 exhibitors, remains a key platform for B2B networking and is expected to see over 12,500 trade visitors over its three-day run.
He was accompanied by Political Advisor, Nasir Sougami, MLA, Farooq Shah, Director Tourism, Jammu Vikas Gupta & other concerned officers.
